Stacy Cataldo’s journey into real estate began with a deep understanding of what it’s like to be on the move. Over the span of 16 years, she and her husband rented and moved 10 different times across Southeast Michigan, including Downriver and Metro Detroit. Through all the searching, moving, and stress, Stacy developed a passion for finding that perfect place to call home.

Whether it was a spacious apartment above a bar, a cozy house with a lush garden, or a historic home in Wyandotte with magnificent hardwood floors, Stacy always had a knack for finding the hidden gems. Each time they moved, she believed it would be the last, falling in love with each new home. Yet, every time, there was something that prompted another move.

Why so many moves? Each rental had its own charm but also its own set of challenges. From windows that wouldn’t open in the summer heat to electrical quirks that made using the microwave a strategic endeavor, Stacy learned firsthand the importance of understanding a property’s details. Most notably, five different times, landlords decided to sell the properties they were renting, pushing Stacy and her husband back into the market. This repetitive cycle inspired Stacy to dive deeper into the real estate market, not just to find a stable home for herself, but to help others do the same.

The turning point came when, once again, their landlord decided to sell. But this time, Stacy was ready. Having recently earned her Michigan real estate license, she understood the market, the buying options, and how to set realistic goals.
